And here is the tenth passage from Earth Seeds.
Think of a flower blossoming outward. Its colorful, delicate petals open in a spiral without end, enveloping the entire universe. Visualize this flower blossoming throughout time as well, spiraling outward through the past, the future and through all probabilities.
Do not hold back. Place no limits upon the extent of your blossom. Let go, bloom and radiate.
You are at the center of this flowering. Yet you are also in every petal. Every petal of this flower radiates awareness, vitality, love and joy.
Every petal of this flower is itself a flower blossoming outward. Send all of these petals spiraling open in their own bloom, transforming the universe into a rampant multiverse, birthing new blossoms at every turn in an endless profusion of creative intent.
Take this flowering as far as you can go, to the limits of your imagination. One iteration, two iterations, ten, one hundred, one thousand. Continue until any idea of iteration is lost in an endless, infinite expansion.
And then let it go.
This is an excellent creative dance to perform in the morning, as you are waking up. But it should never be done as a chore. It should be done lightly, in the spirit of play, and whimsy. It should be as natural as stretching the body after a long sleep. It is a stretching of the mind, the imagination and the spirit.
As a variation, instead of a flower, visualize a star shining out, iterating from every ray of starlight. Or a note of music, blossoming in all directions. You could visualize crystals birthing other crystals, each a seed for spreading formations. The variations are as endless as the blossom itself, butterflies born of butterflies, birds born of birds, leaves born of leaves, even atoms born of atoms.
Performed in the morning upon waking up, this dance can help to make your entire day a vibrant experience. It can also help to open your awareness beyond the limits of your physical body, stimulating empathy and synchronicity.
Have fun with this exercise. Enjoy it. Never force it. If it takes an effort, do not bother.
