Song of Existence has received a rave review over at Ingrid Hall’s blog.
We are totally blown away by this one!
Here are a few excerpts:
…somehow throughout the entire novel the author seamlessly manages to take polar opposites and weave them so that in the end you are left with a beautiful and rich tapestry of contradictions.
…I think Song of Existence should be a mandatory part of the National Curriculum in every single country in the world. That although this is by no means a teen novel, all teenagers, actually make that everyone from the age of 13 to to 90 should be made to read it because the perils and dangers of what can happen when individuals and society as a whole loses their connection with spirit and becomes obsessed only with material possessions and wealth is explored in excruciating detail.
Psychological and emotional damage/damage to the soul and psyche is a major theme throughout the book and is handled in such a unique way that I can honestly, hand on heart say I have never, ever read anything quite like it.
The book is thought provoking, tear jerking and uplifting. PD Allen’s storytelling is breathtaking and exquisite. Our connection to and disconnection from the earth and the higher spiritual realms is explored with total aplomb and more than a hint of magic.
That’s very heavy praise indeed!
And to celebrate this interview and the publication of Quantum Meditations #10, we are have a book sale.
